Chris originally worked from his home in Framsden and joined Ian in partnership in 1990 when he purchased the Market Cross as premises for the new firm. He was a lover of  ‘Olde England’ its manners and customs, as well as its vernacular architecture.

Chris was an expressive folk singer; he played his squeezebox as part of Morris Dancing groups, and was a rumbustuous Shanty man. 

 

Chris died on the 1st January 2005 and is greatly missed.
